It has become necessary to scale-down our fundraising expectations. The reasons therefore are explained elsewhere.

This means that the success of the proposed "Dutch Barges on the Hudson" now depends on the Dutch in America and Canada.

In brief, we seek the financial support of only 5,000 supporters that are prepared to donate US$20 each.

If successful, that will raise sufficient funds to sponsor three traditional Dutch ships and the "Music Boat."

Voor een klein bedrag van zelfs €20 voor een kind/gepensioneerde of oudevandage, of maximaal €50 per een volwassene of €100 voor de hele familie kan je al een mede-sponsor zijn en één prachtige historische boot naar New York brengen. Een sponsering van €1.000 geeft de kans om op de boot te varen in Nederland of New York.

Als Uw gemeenschap, vereniging of zaak er financieel goed voor staat zou U  een exclusief sponsoring aan kunnen bieden voor een boot, schipper en bemanning. Voor een bedrag van €18,000, afhangend van de lengte, word U de solosponsor. Er zijn boten om van te kiezen.

Ten einde, als gedurende deze financieele tijd er nog een "paraplu" sponsor is die baat zou hebben van de pibliciteit dan een investering van €1miljoen brengt de companie vignet op 50 boten gedurende het hoogte punt van het feest in New York, wereldwijd op Internet en TV.

Het is niet nodig om nu te betalen! Dat word pas opgehaald zodra er genoeg beloftes zijn om voor de transportatie van de eerste boot te betalen. Het bedrag gaat gelijk naar de door HH400-goedgekeurde SPTS die het transport verzorgd. Een overschot gaat automatisch naar de volgende boot op de lijst. Als Uw financieel situatie of van gedachte veranderd bent mag U altijd de belofte terug trekken.

Uw belofte word aangegeven op de zelfde dag op deze website onder uw eigen of schuilnaam; de stad/gemeente en provincie/staat van inwoning; en het bedrag in Euros of Amerikaanse dollars.

Appreciëring: Wij zijn van plan om iedere sponsor, groot en klein, een aandenken te sturen waar op staat "Dank U Wel!"

Deze fondsenwerving is geheel vrijstaande van de HH400 Stichting. Het is georganiseerd door "Vrienden van Henry Hudson" en eigenaars van boten en heeft de goede wensen van HH400

For as little as $20 for a child/retiree/pensioner; up to $50 for an adult; or $100 or more for the whole family you can become a co-sponsor to send one of these beautiful traditional craft on their way to the United States. A sponsorship of $1,000 will give you a chance to sail on the boat in the Netherlands or New York.

If your community, club or business is financially secure you might consider the exclusive sponsorship of a whole boat and its skipper and crew. For an amount of $25,000, depending on size of ship, you would be the sole sponsor. There are several boats to choose from.

Finally, if during the current financial crisis there's still an "umbrella" sponsor who could benefit from the publicity than investing $1million would show your company logo on 40 boats during the height of the festivities in New York and worldwide on the Internet en TV.

There's no need to pay now! Collections will be made when sufficient pledges have been received to finance the transportation of the first boat. Funds collected will go directly to the HH400-approved SPTS that will arrange for the transportation. Surplus funds will automatically rollover to the next qualifying boat on the list. If your financial circumstances change or you change your mind you are free to withdraw your pledge.

Your pledge will be acknowledged on this website showing, as you wish, your own name or a penname; and your city/town and state/province; and the amount in United States dollars or Euros.

Appreciation: We will attempt to provide all sponsors, small and large, with a memento to say “Thank You!”

This fundraising is totally independent of the HH400 Foundation. It is organized by "Friends of Henry Hudson" and boat owners and has the best wishes from HH400

4. Een vloot van onze traditionele Nederlandse schepen in de haven van New York zou door miljoenen in de wereld gezien worden;

5. Gewone schippers uit het algemeen varend publiek zijn onze meest eerwaarde nationale vertegenwoordigers;

6. U wil graag de naam van mijn kleinkinderen, kinderen en van mijzelf, op de lijst van donors zien staan;

7. U bent, in principe, bereid om een bijdrage te maken voor de transportatie van een boot ook omdat U weet dat schippers en bemanning ook nog vrij veel andere hoge kosten moeten dekken. Een beschrijving van de schipper, crew en boot staat hier verder onder;

8. Ik kijk ook uit naar onze mememto en hopen de kans te hebben om het schip te bezoeken in Nederland of in New York.

 Een aantal sponsors krijgen de kans om in New York een dag mee te varen.
De datum, tijd en plaats van op en afstappen in New York
zal door de schipper bekend gemaakt worden.

3. Owners of historic Dutch traditional boats have been asked by the organizers to make their boats available for a boat show;

4. A large fleet of traditional Dutch boats representing the Netherlands in New York would be seen by millions in the whole world;

5. Ordinary skippers selected from among seafaring folks will be our most honored national representatives;

6. You would very much like to see the name of your grandchildren and children and yourselves on the list of donors;

7. Because you are ready, in principle, to make a contribution towards the cost of transporting a boat and because you also realize that the skippers and crew will have to pay many additional costs from their own pockets. A skipper and crew and a boat are described below;

8. You are looking forward to receiving the memento and hope to have the opportunity to visit the boat in the Netherlands or New York

A number of sponsors might get the opportunity to sail in New York for a day.
